What makes the city of Ghent to what it is now? In the STAM located on the Bijloke site, you discover the many layers of Ghent and you learn everything about this contemporary city and its ancient history. Our guide will lead you via a chronological route of objects and multimedia, which describe the growth of the city, from the past to the present and future. Everything that contributed to the making of Ghent is passed in review. Regularly there are temporary exhibitions which each time show a different aspect of the concept of “city”. There is also a quest for children.
